BY-LAW NUMBER 1757/83
Being a Restricted Area By-law to amend
Restricted Area By-law 3036, as amended,
to implement the Official Plan of the
Town of Pickering District Planning
Area, Region of Durham on Part of Lots
21 and 22, Concession 1 in the Town of
Pickering (A 14/82)
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
passed By-law 1696/83 amending By-law 3036 to permit the expansion
of an existing commercial complex with revised parking standards
on the subject lands being Part Lots 21 and 22, Concession 1,
Town of Pickering;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing
now deems it desirable to further amend By-law 1696/83;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
TEXT AMENDMENT
Section 2 of By-law 1696/83 is hereby amended by adding thereto
the following:
Notwithstanding Section 12.1.1 (Commercial) and Section 12.1.2
(Institutional Uses) the lands designated "C2" on Schedule "I"
to By-law 1696/B3 shall not be used for a business office,
hotel, an automobile service station, or any Institutional Use.
2. EFFECTIVE DATE
This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing hereof,
subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board, if
required.
