BY-LAW NUMBER 1744/83
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number
1606/82 to appoint persons to various
agencies, boards and con~ittees
WHEREAS by By-law Number 1606/82 enacted on December 20, 1982,
Mrs. Patricia Mackenzie was appointed to the Town of Pickering
Public Library Board for a term to expire on November 30, 1984;
and
WHEREAS by a letter dated September 12, 1983, Mrs. Mackenzie
resigned as a member of the Public Library Board; and
WHEREAS by By-law Number C-10 enacted on December 15, 1980,
Mrs. Gwen Mowbray was appointed to the Public Library Board
for a term to expire on December 31, 1983; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to fill both vacant positions;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering hereby enacts ~s follows:
By-law Number 1606/83 is hereby amended by deleting
therefrom the following:
12. (a) Mrs. Patricia Mackenzie for a term to
expire on November 30, 1984
and adding thereto the following:
12. (a) Mr. Andre Pilon for a term to expire
on November 30, 1984
(c) Mrs. Gwen Mowbray for a term to expire
on November 30, 1986.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED
this 17th day of October, 1983.
