HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 1709/83THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 1709/83 Being a by-law to exempt Lots 1-7, 20-23, 37-41, and Blocks 51 and 60, Plan 40M-1267, from part lot control WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of section 29(10) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 379, the council of a municipality may by by-law provide that section 29(5) of the Act does not apply to certain lands within a plan of subdivision des- ignated in the by-law; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: Section 29(5) of the Planning Act, the lands described as follows: Registered Plan 40M-1267 R.S.O. 1980, chapter 379, does not apply to Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 20, 21, 22, 23, 37, 38, 39, 40 and 41, Blocks 51 and 60 This by-law shall not come into effect until approved by the Regional Municipal- ity of Durham. Plan 40M-1267 does not have a Block 60 and consequently, the by-law has not been registered against any property known as Block 60, Plan 40M-1267. Therefore, when reviewing this matter for the purposes of the preparation of a by-law to repeal this by-law, do not search for transfers relating to Block 60, Plan 40M-1267.
