BY-LAW NO.1686 /83
Being a by-law to stop up part of Glenanna
Road and part of Sheridan Mall Parkway
(formerly Industrial Road) and to authorize
the sale of those parts to abutting property
owners
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of subsection 298(1) of the Municipal Act,
R.S.O. 1980, chapter 302, the council of any municipality may pass by-laws to stop
up a highway or part thereof and to sell parts of stopped-up highways; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient to stop up part of Glenanna Road and part of
Sheridan Mall Parkway (formerly Industrial Road); and
WHEREAS, notice of this by-law has been published once a week for four consecutive
weeks and the provisions of the Municipal Act relating to the stopping-up of a high-
way have been complied with;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The lands described in Schedule TrA" attached hereto are hereby stopped-up as
public highway.
The lands described in Schedule "A" attached hereto shall be offered for sale to
the abutting property owners.
This by-law shall not take effect until registered in the Registry Office for the
Registry Division of Durham.
BY-LAW read a first and second time this 6th day of June, 1983.

ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate, lying
and being in the Town of Picketing, in the Regional Municipality of Durham and
Province of Ontario and being composed of those parts of Lots 2i and 22, Concession
1, designated as Part 1 on a plan o{ sur~e¥ of record deposited in the Land Registry
Office for the Registry Division of Durham as Plan 40R-6953.
