BY-LAW NUMBER 1659/83
Being a by-law to amend By-law 778/78 to
regulate the construction of driveway
entrances upon highways under the juris-
diction of the Town of Pickering.
WHEREAS By-law 778/78 was passed on April 3, 1978 to regulate
the construction of driveway entrances upon highways under the
jurisdiction of the Town of Pickering; and
WHEREAS it is now deemed expedient to amend that By-law to
provide for increased costs involved in the installation of
driveway entrances;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
Schedule "A" to By-law 778/78 is hereby
revoked and Schedule "I" attached to this
by-law is substituted therefor.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED
this 2nd day of May, 1983.

3. Maximum permitted length of culvert at this amount is 50 feet
(15.25m).
