BY-LAW NO.1656 /83
Being a by-law to amend By-Law 1643183
designating pedestrian crossovers for the
purposes of the Highway Traffic Act
WHEREAS section 120 of the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 198, provides
for the drivers of vehicles yielding the right of way to pedestrians and persons in
wheelchairs crossing a roadway within a pedestrian crossover designated by by-law;
and
WHEREAS, on April 5th, ]983, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering enacted By-Law 1643/83 pursuant thereto;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Item ] of Schedule A to By-Law 1643/83 is hereby revoked and
substituted therefor:
