BY-LAW NUMBER 1918/84
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 55/74
prohibiting heavy traffic
WHEREAS pursuant to section 210.117 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980,
c. 302, as amended, by-laws may be passed by the councils of local
municipalities for prohibiting heavy traffic as defined in the by-law,
subject to the Highway Traffic Act; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend By-law 55/74 to allow heavy
traffic on Concession 5 Road in the hamlet of Whitevale;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
Section 2
further amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Concession 5 Road
and substituting therefor
Concession 5 Road
of By-law Number 55/74, as amended, is hereby
Brock Road Altona Road
the following:
Brock Road
Golf Club Road
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED this
5th day of November, 1984.
