BY-LAW NUMBER 1917/84
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number
1776/84 to authorize the construction
of a roadway and storm sewer as a
local improvement
WHEREAS by By-law Number 1776/84 enacted on March 5, 1984, the
Council of the Town of Picketing authorized the construction of
a roadway and storm sewer on lands located in Part of Lot 19,
Range 3 as a local improvement; and
WHEREAS the said by-law provided that the cost of the works was
to be paid by the issuance of debentures; and
WHEREAS it is deemed desireable to fund the said works from a
contribution from the Town's General Fund;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS
as follows:
Section 4 of By-law Number 1776/84 is hereby deleted and
the following substituted therefor:

The cost of the works, estimated at $321,000.00,
is to be paid by a contribution from the General
Fund of the Town of Pickering.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED this
5th day of November, 1984.
