BY-LAW NO. 1913 /84
Being a by-law to stop up part of Lot 7, Plan
282, being part of Part 4, Plan 84 Miscellaneous,
a public highway (Twyn Rivers Drive - part).
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of section 298(1) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O.
1980, chapter 302, the council of any municipality may pass by-laws to stop up a
highway or part thereof;
WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient to stop up a portion of Lot 7, Plan 282, being part
of Part 4, Plan 84 Miscellaneous, Pickering (Twyn Rivers Drive - part);
WHEREAS, notice of this by-law has been published once a week for four consecutive
weeks and the provisions of the Municipal Act relating to the stopping up of a high-
way have been complied with;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
That part of Twyn Rivers Drive comprising part of Lot 7, Plan 282, being part
of Part 4, Plan 84 Miscellaneous, more particularly described in Schedule A
attached hereto, is hereby stopped up and closed to vehicular and pedestrian
traffic.
The sale of the lands described in Schedule A attached hereto, to the abutting
owner to the north, at a nominal sum, is hereby authorized.
BY-LAW read a first and second time this 15th day of October, 1984.
BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 19th day of November, 1984.

ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land situate, lying and being in
the Town of Pickering, in the Regional Municipality of Durham (formerly in the Town-
ship of Pickering in the County of Ontario) and Province of Ontario and being
composed of part of Lot 7, Registered Plan 282, more particularly shown as Part 4
according to a plan filed in the Registry Office for the Registry Division of the
County of Ontario as Number 84 Miscellaneous, the boundaries of which are described
as follows:
PREMISING that the southerly limit of the said Part 4 has bearing of N 73° 05' 00" E,
all bearings herein are referred thereto;
COMMENCING at the south-east angle of the said Part 4;
THENCE S 73° 05' 00" W, along the southerly limit of the Part, 81.50 feet;
THENCE N 18° 14' 40" W, 10.00 feet;
THENCE N 73° 05' 00" E, parallel to the southerly limit of the Part, distant 10.00 feet
northerly therefrom, 81.50 feet to the easterly limit;
THENCE S 18° 14' 40" E, along the last-mentioned limit, 10.00 feet to the Point of
Commencement,
