BY-LAW NUMBER 1853/84
Being a by-law to appoint persons to the
Property Standards Committee
WHEREAS pursuant to section 31 of the Planning Act, S.O., 1983,
chapter 1, as amended, the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering enacted By-law 1834/84 on May 7, 1984 to
establish and enforce minimum standards for the maintenance
and occupancy of all property within the Town of Pickering;
and
WHEREAS section 178 of By-law 1834/84 provides for the estab-
lishment of a Property Standards Committee consisting of three
resident ratepayers of the Town to be appointed by Council;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
The following persons are hereby appointed to the
Property Standards Committee for the term indicated:
Mr. Peter Gillespie November 30, 1985
Mr. Joseph Healy November 30, 1986
Mr. Gerry McCabe November 30, 1987
The Committee shall appoint from amongst its members
a Chairperson.
3. The Committee shall meet at the Call of the Chair.
4. The Town Clerk shall be the Secretary of the Committee.

The members of the Committee shall receive remuneration
of $40.00 per diem plus mileage.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED
this 18th day of June, 1984.
