BY-LAW NUMBER 1852/84
Being a by-law to appoint Property
Standards Officers
WHEREAS pursuant to section 31.1(c) of the Planning Act,
S.O. 1983, chapter 1, as amended, an officer means a
property standards officer who has been assigned the
responsibility of administering and enforcing by-laws
passed under this section; and
WHEREAS pursuant to section 180 of By-law 1834/84 enacted
on May 7, 1984, the Council of the Town shall appoint a
Property Standards Officer who shall be responsible for
the administration and enforcement of By-law 1834/84;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
Mr. Thomas Howard and Mr. John Wojnicz are
hereby appointed as Property Standards Officers
for the purpose of administering and enforcing
By-law 1834/84.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally
PASSED this 18th day of June, 1984.
