BY-LAW NUMBER 1850/84
Being a by-law to appoint a Fire Chief
for the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering (Mr. Thomas (Steve) Stewart)
and to repeal By-law 7/74.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of section 208.45 of the
Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 302, the council of a
municipality may pass by-laws for appointing such officers
and servants as may be necessary for the purposes of the Corporation;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
Mr. Thomas (Steve) Stewart is hereby appointed
Fire Chief for the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering effective May 7th 1984, to carry out
the duties of the Fire Chief until such time
as this appointment is termina%ed.
2. By-Law Number 7/74 is hereby repealed.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED
this 4th day of June 1984.
