BY-LAW NUMBER 2585/87
Being a by-law to require an election to be
held to fill the vacancy for the office of
Regional Councillor - Ward 3
Whereas pursuant to section 46(1) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, c.
302, as amended, the council may by by-law require an election to be held
to fill a vacancy where a vacancy occurs in the office of a member of the
council of a local municipality; and
Whereas by resolution passed on September 21, 1987, the Council of the
Corporation of the Town of Pickerin9 declared a vacancy in the office of
Regional Councillor - Ward 3;
Now Therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickerin9
hereby enacts as follows:
1. That an election be held to fill the vacancy in the office of
Regional Councillor - Ward 3.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 28th
day of September, 1987.
