HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2539/87THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 2539 787 Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a Transfer from The Corporation of the Town of Pickering to the Regional Municipality of Durham of that part of Lot 18, Range 3, B.F.C., Pickering, designated as Part 2, Plan 40R-1065. WHEREAS The Corporation of the Town of Pickering, as successor to The Corporation of the Township of Pickerlng, is the ox~ner of that part of Lot 18, Range 3, B.F.C., Pickerlng, designated as Part 2, Plan 40R-1065; and WHEREAS those lands are intended to be a road widening for Brock Road, which is under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Durham; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Transfer, in the form attached hereto as Schedule A, respecting the transfer by the Town to the Regional Municipality of Durham of that part of Lot 18, Range 3, Broken Front Concession, Pickering, designated as Part 2, Plan 40R-1065, for the sale price of $2.00. BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 29th day of June, 1987.
