BY-LAW NO. 2505/87
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a
Quit Claim in favour of Wix Corporation Limited
respecting Part Lot 18, Range 3, B.F.C.,
Pickering (Part 2, Plan 40R-918) (Instrument No.
238606).
WHEREAS, The Corporation of the Town of Pickering as successor to the Corporation
of the Township of Picketing, has an easement for storm drainage purposes over
those lands in Part Lot 18, Range 3, B.F.C., designated as Part 2 on Plan 40R-918),
described in Instrument No. 238606, which easement is no longer required; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 302, section 193, the
council of a municipal corporation may pass by-laws to dispose of land or interests
therein when no longer required;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Quit Claim, in the
form attached hereto as Schedule A, in favour of Wix Corporation Limited
respecting Part Lot 18, Range 3, B.F.C., Picketing (Part 2, Plan 40R-918)
(Instrument No. 238606).
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 15th day of June,
1987.

The Corporation of the Town of Pickering, as successor to The Corporation o£ the
Township of Picketing, releases and quits claim to Wix Corporation Limited, its
successors and assigns forever, all of the estate, right, title, interest, claim
and demand whatsoever of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing in the lands
described in Box 6, above.
