BY-LAW NUMBER 2502/87
Being a by-law to authorize the temporary
borrowing of up to $5,000,000 at any one time
in order to meet the costs of construction of
the proposed Pickering Civic Complex
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
(hereinafter called the "Town") deems it necessary to borrow the sum of
up to $5,000,000 at any one time in order to meet the costs of
construction of the proposed Pickering Civic Complex;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
The Mayor and Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of the Town
to borrow up to $5,000,000 at any one time in order to meet the
costs of construction of the proposed Pickering Civic Complex
pending the receipt of Provincial grants and investment maturities.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and PASSED this 15th day of
June, 1987.
