BY-LAW NUMBER 2486/87
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 2367/87
to amend the Town of Pickering Municipal Code
to adopt the 1987 estimates of all sums required
during the year for the purposes of the Municipality
of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering, and
to provide for the levying of the rates resulting
therefrom and to levy the rates necessary to cover
the estimated 1987 levy from the Council of the
Corporation of the Regional Municipality
of Durham.
Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering enacted
By-law Number 2367/87 on February 2, 1987 to adopt the 1987 estimates of
all sums required during the year for the purposes of the Municipality of
the Corporation of the Town of Pickering, and to provide for the levying
of the rates resulting therefrom and to levy the rates necessary to cover
the estimated 1987 levy from the Council of the Corporation of the
Regional Municipality of Durham; and
Whereas the 1986 assessment roll for 1987 taxation has been returned and
adjustments to the assessment figures in By-law Number 2367/87 are
necessary;
Now Therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
Hereby Enacts as follows:
1. Sections 2210.10 and 2210.11 of the Town of Pickering Municipal
Code, as amended by By-law Number 2367/87, are hereby deleted and
the following substituted therefor:
