HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2466/87THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 2466 /87 Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a Transfer from The Corporation of the Town of Picketing to Valerian Investments Inc. of Part Lot 34, part road allowance between Lots 34 and 35 and Part Lot 35, Range 3, B.F.C., Pickering. (Parts 1, 4, 8, Plan 40R-9629; Draft Plan 18T-85037). WHEREAS The Corporation of the Town of Picketing is the owner in fee simple of those parts of Lot 34, the road allowance between Lots 34 and 35 and Lot 35, being Parts 8, 4 and 1, respectively, Plan 40R-9629, all in Range 3, B.F.C,, Picketing, which have been stopped up and closed as public highway by By-laws 1914184 (Part 8); 2047 (Part 4) and 2296/86 (Part 1); and WHEREAS the Town no longer requires those lands for its purposes and Valerian Investments Inc. is the abutting owner in each case; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Transfer/Deed of Land in the form attached hereto as Schedule A, by which part of Lot 34, part of the road allowance between Lots 34 and 35 and part of Lot 35, being Parts 8, 4 and 1, respectively, Plan 40R-9629, all in Range 3, B.F.C., Picketing, are transferred from The Corporation of the Town of Picketing to Valerian Investments Inc. (Draft Plan 18T-85037). BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 4th day of May, 1987. TOWN OF APPROVED AS TO LECAL DEPT.
