HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2436/87THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 2436/87 Being a by-law to repeal By-law 1623/83. WHEREAS, pursuant to the Municipal Act, section 298(1), The Corporation of the Town of Pickering enacted By-law 1623/83, to dedicate certain lands in Lot~21 and 22, Concession 1, Picketing as public highway (part Glenanna Road/part Sheridan Mall Parkway) for the purpose of providing a public road along the south and east bound- aries of Sheridan Mall until a revised alignment thereof was dedicated and; WHEREAS, that revised alignment was subsequently dedicated by By-law 1882/84 rendering By-law 1623/83 redundant; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. By-law 1623/83 is hereby repealed. BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 6th day of April, 1987. JoHn E. Anderson, Mayor /Bruce Taylor, THE CORPORATION OF TIlE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 1623183 Being a by-law to dedicate part of Glenanna Road and part of Sheridan Mall Parkway (form- erly Industrial Road) as public highway and to repeal By-Law 1480/82 WHEREAS the Corporation of the Town oF Pickering is the owner in fee simple of certain lands in Lots 21 and 22, Concession 1, Picketing, designated as Part l, Plan 40R-6953; and WHEREAS it is deemed necessary to dedicate those lands as public highway; NOW TIIEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering tiEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: -The lands more particularly described in Schedule "/V~ attached hereto, which Schedule is hereby made a part oF tills by-law, are hereby dedicated aq public highway. (Part Lots 2i aad 22, Concession 1; Part 1, Plan 40R-6953 ,Pickering; Glenanna Road, Sheridan Mall Parkway~ 2. By-Law 1480/82 is hereby repealed.
