BY-LAW NUMBER 2408/87
Being a by-law to appoint Pamela Reid
to the Town of Pickerin9 Public Library Board
Whereas pursuant to section 12 of the Public Libraries Act, S.O. 1984,
c.57, as amended, where a vacancy arises in the membership of a board,
the appointing council shall promptly appoint a person to fill the
vacancy and to hold office for the unexpired term; and
Whereas Denise Holtby has submitted her resignation from the Town of
Pickering Public Library Board effective immediately;
Now therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
hereby enacts as follows:
1. That section 13 of By-law Number 2122/85 is hereby amended by
deleting as follows:
c) Denise Holtby
and substituting thereto the following:
c) Pamela Reid
By-law passed a first, second and third time and finally passed this 2nd
day of March, 1987.
