HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2376/87THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 5036, as amended, to implement the Official Plan of the Town of Pickering District Planning Area, Region of Durham, in Part of Lot 54, Plan 226 (Parts 1 to 7 inclusive, Plan 40R-10032), in the Town of Picketing. (A 22/86) WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering deems it desirable to permit the establishment of three additional residential lots on the subject property, each lot having a minimum lot area of 460 square metres and a minimum lot frontage of 15 metres; AND WHEREAS the amendment to By-law 5036, as amended, is therefore deemed necessary; NOW THEREFORE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. BY-LAW 5036 By-law 3036, passed by the Council of the Corporation of the Township (now Town) of Pickering on the 3rd day of August 1965, and approved by the Ontario Municipal Board on the 7th day of October 1966, and amended from time to time, is hereby further amended only to the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions of Section 2 hereof. 2. (1) SCHEDULE "A" AMENDMENT Schedule "A" to By-law 3036, as amended, is hereby further amended by changing from "R3" (One-Family Detached Dwelling Third Density Zone) and "G" (Greenbelt-Conservation Zone) to "R4" (One-Family Detached Dwelling Fourth Density Zone) and "G" (Greenbelt-Conservation Zone) the zone designation of lands designated "R4" and "G" on Schedule "I" attached hereto being Part of Lot 54, Plan 228, Pickering (Parts 1 to 7 inclusive, Plan 40R-10052). (2) TEXT AMENDMENT Section 10 of By-law 3056, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding thereto the following subsection: 10.3.5 Part of Lot 54, Plan 228, Pickering (Parts 1 to 7 inclusive, Plan 40R-10052) Despite the provisions of Section 10.2.3 of By-law 5036, the minimum front yard for the lands in Part of Lot 34, Plan 228, Picketing, designated Parts I to 7 inclusive, Plan 40R-10032 shall be 10.5 metres and not 7.5 metres. continued... Page 2 EFFECTIVE DATE This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing hereof subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board, if required.
