BY-LAW NO. 2120 [85
Being a by-law to establish the number of mem-
bers of The Picketing Public l,ibrary Board
WHEREAS section 9(1) of the Public Libraries Act, 1984, S.O. 1984, c.57, provides
that a public library beard for a municipality whose population is less than 100,000
shall be composed of at least five and no more than nine members appointed by the
municipal council;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The Pickering Public Library Board shall be composed of nine members appoint-
ed by the Council in accordance with the provisions of the Public Libraries Act,
1984, S.O. 1984, c.57.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 16th day of
December, 1985.
