HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2104/85THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUHBER 2104/85 Being a Zoning By-law to amend By-law 1699/83, amending Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 3036, as amended, to implement the Official Plan of the Town of Pickerin9 District Planning Area, Region of Durham, in Blocks 99 to 113 inclusive, Plan 40M-1350, in the Town of Pickering. (A 31/85) WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering passed By-law 1699/83, amending By-law 3036, to permit the development of semi-detached and single attached dwellings, to occur on the subject lands, being Blocks 99 to 113 inclusive, Plan 40M-1350, Town of Pickering) AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering now deems it desirable to further amend By-law 3036 as amended by By-law 1699/83 to permit development of semi- detached dwellings attached horizontally below grade; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: TEXT AMENDMENT Section 4 of By-law 1699/83 is hereby amended by deleting clause (e) of subsection (1) and adding the following: (1) (e) "~Dw~ellin~, Semi-Detached or Semi-Detached Dwelling" shall mean one of a pair of single 3wellings, such dwellings being attached together horizontally in whole or in part above grade, below grade, or both above and below grade, 2.
