BY-LAW NUMBER 2086/85
Being a by-law to amend By-law ~mg~er 1899/84
to restrict the weight of vehicles passing over
certain bridges within the Town of Pickering.
W1]ereas Council enacted By-law 1899/84 on September 17, 1984 to restrict the weight of
vehicles passing over certain bridges within the Town of Picketing; and
Whereas it is deemed expedient to amend that By-law to lower the weight load on the
Linton Bridge on Concession 8 Road;
Now Therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering hereby enacts as
fol lows:
Schedule "A" to By-law Number 1899/84 is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the
following:
at Lot 10, Conc. 7/8
on Concession 8 Road
15 tonnes 15 tonnes 15 tonnes
and substituting therefor the following:
at Lot 10, Conc. 7/8
on Concession 8 Road
2 tonnes 2 tonnes 2 tonnes

This by-law shall not becc~le effective until notice of the limit of weight per-
mitted in c~pliance with the regulations under the High~ay Traffic Act has been
posted in a conspicuous place at each end of the bridge and until approved by the
Ministry of Transportation and Cc~unications
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 7th day of October,
1985.
