BY-LAW NUMBER 2081/85
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 3071
to regulate signs in the Town of Pickering
WHEREAS By-law Number 3071 was enacted on December 29, 1965 to
regulate signs in the Town of Picketing; and
WHEREAS i% is deemed expedient %o amend By-law Number 3071 with
respect to regulations governing ground signs;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. Section 5Ia) (ii) of By-law Number 3071 is hereby deleted
and the following substituted therefor:
"5 (a) (ii)
The ou%ermost part of such sign shall not
be less than 10 feet back from the street-
line and the highest part shall not be more
than 35 feet above such average grade level;"
2. Section 5(a) (iii) of By-law Number 3071 is hereby deleted.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally passed
this 16th day of September, 1985.
