BY-LAW ~UMBER 2072/85
Being a by-law to authorize the execution
of a Licence Agreement between the Town and
Ontario Hydro respecting the use of Ontario
Hydro lands for a parking lot at Don Beer
Arena from March 1, 1985 to February 28, 1990
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of section 193 of the Municipal
Act, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 302, the council of a municipal corporation
may pass a by-law to acquire lands or an interest in lands for its
purposes; and
WHEREAS the Town of Pickering wishes to acquire the right to utilize
Ontario Hydro lands adjacent to the Don Beer Arena for the purposes
of providing parking for that facility;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
That the Mayor and Clerk and hereby authorized to execute a
licence agreement between the Town and Ontario Hydro respecting
the use of Ontario Hydro lands for a parking lot at Don Beer
Arena from March 1, 1985 to February 28, 1990.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and PASSED this 6th day of
August, 1985.
