BY-LAW NO. 2067 /85
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a
Release by the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering of Brock North General Contractors
Limited, John Richard Wise and Christine
Antoinette Wise from the covenants contained in
Agreements respecting part Lot 3, Plan 292,
(Parts A and B, Plan 40R-2178)
WHEREAS, by Agreements dated May 5th, 1975 and February 2nd, 1976, between The
Corporation of the Town of Pickering and Brock North General Contractors Limited
(registered as Instruments D7747 and D31242, respectively), Brock North General
Contractors Limited on its behalf and on behalf of its successors, agreed not to apply
for a building permit for part of Lot 3, Plan 282, Picketing, until a secondary plan
was approved and in force for the area; and
WHEREAS the Highbush Community Plan, being the secondary plan for the area, was
approved and came into force on October 26th, ]982;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Re]ease, in the form
attached hereto as Schedule A, by the Corporation of the Town of Picketing of
Brock North General Contractors Limited, John Richard Wise and Christine
Antoinette Wise from the covenants contained in Agreements D7747 and D32142,
respecting part Lot 3, Plan 282, Pickering (Parts A and B, Plan 40R-7128).
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 6th day of
August, 1985.

of Two Dollars ($2.00) paid to it, receipt of which is

hereby releases and forever discharges
BROCK NORTH GENERAL CONTRACTORS LIMITED,
JOHN RICHARD WISE and
CHRISTINE ANTOINETTE WISE
their respective heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns of and from
all claims, demands, damages, actions or causes of action which may have arisen, are
arising, or may arise as a result of or in any way related to the Agreements dated
May 5th, 1975 and February 2nd, 1976, registered in the Registry Office for the
Registry Division of Durham as Instrument Nos. D7747 and D31242 respectively
between

and
BROCK NORTH GENERAL CONTRACTORS LIMITED
concerning the lands more particularly described in Schedule A attached hereto.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF The Corporation of the Town of Pickering has hereunto affixed
its corporate seal attested by its proper authorized officers this 6th day

ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate, lying
and being in the Town of Picketing, in the Regional Municipality of Durham (formerly
the Township of Picketing, in the County of Ontario) and Province of Ontario, and
being composed of those parts of Lot 3, Plan 282, designated as Parts A and }3, Plan
40R-2178.
