BY-LAW NUMBER 2023/85
Being a by-law to amend the Town of Picketing
Municipal Code to levy such rates against all
of the assessed properties in the town of
Pickering as will be required to cover the 1985
requisitions from the Durham Beard of Education
and the Durham Region Roman Catholic School Beard
WHEREAS the Durham Board of Education and the Durham l~egion Roman Catholic Separate
School Board have requisitioned the Council of the Town of Pickering for certain s~ns
of money being the Town's share of 1985 operating and capital costs of various
Elementary and Secondaryn Schools under their jurisdiction:
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY E~CTS as
follows:
Sections 2210.9, 2210.12 and 2210.13 of the Town of Pickering Municipal Code are
hereby deleted and the following substituted therefor:

There shall be raised, levied and collected from and upon all the
rateable proeprty in the Town of Pickering the rates and s%~ns set out in
sections 2210.12 and 2210.13 to levy the 1985 requisition from the
Durham Board of Education and the Durham Region Roman Catholic Separate
School Board.
