BY-LAW NUMBER 2006/85
Being a Zoning By-law to amend By-law
1680/83, amending Restricted Area By-law
3036, as amended, to implement the
Official Plan of the Town of Pickering
District Planning Area, Region of Durham,
in Part Lot 23, Concession l, in the Town
of Pickering. (A42/84)
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing
passed By-laws 1680/83 and 1727/83, amending By-law 3036, to
permit the development of retail and personal service commercial
uses and a greenbelt area on the subject lands, being Part Lot
23, Concession 1 , Town of Pickering.
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
now deems it desirable to further amend By-law 3036 as amended
by By-laws 1680/83 and 1727/83 to remove certain temporary access
points;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
TEXT AMENDMENT
(1) Clauses (II), (III) and (IV) of Section 5(1)(b)vii E
of By-law 1680/83, as amended by By-law 1727/83 are
hereby revoked.
(2)
Clauses (V} and (VI) of Section 5(1)(b)vii E of
By-law 1680/83, as amended by By-law 1727/83 are
hereby renumbered Clauses (II) and (III) respectively.
SCHEDULE AMENDMENT
Schedule "II" to By-law 1680/83 as replaced by By-law
1727/83, is hereby amended
(a) by deleting therefrom Temporary Access A and
Temporary Access B; and
(b) by adding thereto a 20.0 m Access on the easterly
boundary of Area 4 in the location identified on
Schedule 'A' hereto.
EFFECTIVE DATE
This By-law shall take effect
hereof subject to the approval
