BY-LAW NO. 1959 /85
Being a by-law to dedicate parts of Lots 28 and
29, Plan 12, Pickering, as public highway.
WHEREAS, The Corporation of the Town of Picketing is the owner of parts of Lots 28
and 29, Picketing, which it desires to dedicate as public highway;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
Those parts of Lots 28 and 29, Plan 12, Picketing, more particularly described
in Schedule A hereto are hereby dedicated as public highway.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 21st day of
January, 1985.

SCHEDULE A
ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises, situate, lying
and being in the Town of Picketing, in the Regional Municipality of Durham (formerly
the Township of Picketing and County of Ontario) and Province of Ontario and being
composed of those parts of Lots 28 and 29, Plan 12, more particularly described as
follow s:
PREMISING that the bearing of the north limit of Central Street as shown on Plan 12
is N71°24'00"E and relating all bearings used herein thereto;
COMMENCING at the south-east angle of Lot 26, Plan 12;
THENCE on a circular curve to the left having a radius of 50.0 feet, a chord distance
of 50.86 feet measured on a chord bearing of S20°58'30"W;
THENCE continuing along said circular curve to the left to a point of intersection
with a line drawn parallel to the west limit of Lot 28 through a point in the south
limit of Lot 28 distant easterly in that south limit 244.08 feet from the south-west
angle of Lot 28, a chord distance of 63.77 feet measured on a chord bearing of
S49°12'30"E;
THENCE S17°30'00"E along that parallel line to a point in the south limit of Lot 28, a
distance of 235.71 feet;
THENCE N71°24'00"E along the south limit of Lots 28 and 29, a distance of 66.01 feet;
THENCE N17°30'00"W, a distance of 281.80 feet;
THENCE on a circular curve to the left having a radius of 50.0 feet, measured on a
chord bearing of N53°05'00"W to a point in the north limit of Lot 29;
THENCE S71°24'00"W along the north limit of Lots 28 and 29, a distance of 34.04 feet
to the point of commencement.
