BY-LAW NO. 1958/85
Being a by-law to change the name of Station
Road to Squires Beach Road
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 210.105 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O.
302, the council of a local municipality may pass by-laws for giving
changing the names of highways on public property;

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:

Station Road, as described in Schedule A hereto, is hereby renamed "Squires
Beach Road".
The lands described in Schedule B hereto are hereby named "Squires Beach
Road".
Schedules A and B attached hereto form part of this By-law.
Appendix I attached hereto is for illustration purposes only.
This By-law shall take effect upon the registration of a certified copy thereof
in the Land Registry Office and in the Land Titles Office for the Registry
Division of Durham.
BY-LAW read a first and second time this 21st day of January, 1985.
BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed thi~ 18th day of February, 1985.
SCHEDULE A
ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract o£ land and premises situate, lying
and being in the Town of Picketing, in the Regional Municipality of Durham (formerly
in the Township of Picketing, in the County of Ontario) and Province of Ontario and
being composed of that part of the road allowance between Lots 16 and 17, Concession
1, more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the southeast corner of Lot 17, Concession
THENCE northerly along the east limit of Lot 17, Concession 1, to a point in that
limit distant 0.3048 metres southerly therealong from the intersection of that limit with
the south limit of Provincial Highway Number 401;
THENCE easterly to a point in the west limit of Lot 16, Concession 1, distant 0.3048
metres southerly therealong from the intersection of that limit with the south limit of
Provincial Highway Number 401;
THENCE southerly along the west limit of Lot 16, Concession 1, to the southwest
corner of Lot 16, Concession 1;
THENCE westerly, along the northerly limit of the road allowance between Range 3,
Broken Front Concession and Concession 1, to the point of commencement.

ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or ~ract of land and premises situate, lying
and being in the Town of Picketing, in the Regional Municipality of Durham (formerly
in the Township of Picketing, in the County of Ontario) and Province of Ontario and
being composed of that part of Lot 16, Concesslon 1, designated as Part 2 on a plan
of survey of reference deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles
Division of Durham (No. 40) as Plan 40R-8469,
Being the whole of Parcel Picketing Con 1-
section Town of Picketing.
