BY-LAW NUMBER 1948/85
Being a Zoning By-law to amend Restricted
Area (Zoning) By-law 2511, as amended to
implement the Official Plan of the Town
of Pickering District Planning Area, Region
of Durham on Part of Lots 28, 29, 30 and
Water Lots, Ranges 2 and 3, B.F.C., in the
Town of Picketing. (A 27/84)
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of th~ Town of Pickering
deems it desirable to alter the zone designations on the
subject property to more accurately reflect current conservation -
recreational use of the land;
AND WHEREAS an amendment to By-law 2511 is therefore deemed
necessary;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. BY-LAW 2511
By-law 2511, passed by the Council of the Corporation
of the Township (now Town) of Pickering on the 5th day
of October 1960, and approved by the Ontario Municipal
Board on the 3rd day of January 1963, and amended
from time to time, is hereby further amended only to
the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions
of Section 2 hereof.
SCHEDULE "A" AMENDMENT
Schedule "A" to By-law 2511, as amended, is hereby
further amended by altering from R1 (One-Family Detached
Dwelling First Density Zone), R3 (One-Family Detached
Dwelling Third Density Zone), R4 (One-Family Detached
Dwelling Fourth Density Zone), G (Greenbelt Zone) and O1
(Public Open Space) to 02 (Public & Private Open Space
Zone) the zone designation of the lands designated '02' on
Schedule "I" hereto, being Part Lots 28, 29, 30 and Water
Lots, Ranges 2 and 3, B.F.C.
EFFECTIVE DATE
This By-law shall take
