BY-LAW NUMBER 2341/8~
Being a by-law to amend By-law 1887/84
(Business Licensing) to provide for an
increased licence fee for markets.
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 11 of By-law 1887/84 (Business Licensing),
upon application on the prescribed form for a licence for a market or
proposed market, a licence may be issued on payment of a fee of $500.00
per operating day;
WHEREAS, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering has
deemed it expedient to increase the said fee to $750.00 per operating da.v;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Section ll of By-law 1887/84 is hereby deleted and the following
substituted therefor:
l) Upon application on the prescribed form for a licence for a
market or proposed market, a licence may be issued on
payment of a fee of $750.00 per operating day.
2. This by-law shall take effect on January l, 1987.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED this 15th
day of December, 1986.
