Pickering for an order approving:
(a)
the construction of a local
improvement described in
Schedule "A" hereto, at an
estimated cost not exceeding
$490,000.00 and the borrowing of
money by way of temporary
advances not exceeding in the
aggregate such estimated cost
pending the sale of debentures,
and
(b)
the issuance of debentures
therefor in the sum of
$490,000.00 by The Regional
Municipality of Durham for a
term not to exceed ten years,
chargeable to the applicant
corporation
such application having been approved
by order of the Board dated the 31st
day of July, 1986
- and -
IN THE MATTER OF a present
application for an order approving:
(c)
an additional expenditure of
$245,000.00 covering an
additional esti mated cost of
this amount, and the borrowing
of money by way of temporary
advances not exceeding in the
aggregate such additional
estimated cost pending the sale
of debentures,
(d)
the issuance of additional
debentures in the amount of
$245,000.00, by The Regional
Municipality of Durham,
chargeable to the applicant
corporation
(e)
an amendment to the said
previous order of the Board by
replacing Schedule 'A' thereto
with Schedule 'A' annexed hereto

THE BOARD ORDERS that this application be granted and the total
expenditures and the total debentures to be issued under this order
and under the previous order of the Board dated the 31st day of July,
1986, and entered in order book No. E 86-2 at folio 369 on the 15th
day of August, 1986, are not to exceed expenditures of $735,000.00 and
debentures of $735,000.00, for a term not exceeding the term
prescribed in such previous order, and additional local improvement
charges to be considered by the Court of Revision; and provided that
the Councils of the applicant corporation and The Regional
Municipality of Durham in exercising any power approved by this order
shall comply and conform with all statutory and other legal
requirements related thereto;
AND THE BOARD ORDERS that its previous order is hereby further amended
by replacing Schedule 'A' thereto with Schedule 'A' annexed to this
order, provided that the Councils of the applicant corporation and The
Regional Municipality of Durham in exercising any power approved by
this order shall comply and conform with all statutory and other legal
requirements related thereto.

Pickering Parkway, 756 metres to Notion Road at the costs not

THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
BY-LAW NUMBER 2557/86
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 2227/86
to authorize the construction of a roadway, including
curbs, paving, sidewalks, boulevard sodding and tree
planting, as a local improvement under the provisions of
sections 7.1(a), Il and 68 of the Local Improvement Act.
Whereas by By-law Number 2227/86 enacted on the 20th day of June, 1986,
Council authorized the construction of a roadway, includino curbs,
paving, sidewalks, boulevard sodding and tree planting, to extend
Pickerino Parkway from its easterly terminus to Notion Road as a local
improvement under the provisions of the Local Improvement Act; and
Whereas the Ontario Municipal Board did authorize the construction of the
said works at an estimated cost of $490,000.00; and
Whereas the cost of the construction including a contingency of
engineering costs, of the said works is now deemed to be $735,000.00;
Now Therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing
hereby enacts as follows:
1. Section l(1) of By-law 2227/86 is hereby amended by deleting the
figure "$490,000.00" and substituting the figure "$735,000.00".
2. Section 3 of the said By-law is hereb.v amended by deleting the
figure "$490,000.00" and substituting the figure "$735,000.00".
Schedule "A" to the said By-law is hereby deleted and Schedule "I"
attached to this By-law is substituted therefore.
By-law read a first and second time this first day of December, 1986.
