THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
BY-LAW NUMBER 2329 /86
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 55/74
prohibiting heavy traffic.
WHEREAS pursuant to section 210.I17 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, c.
302, as amended, by-laws may be passed by the councils of local
municipalities for prohibiting heavy traffic as defined in the by-law
subject to the Highway Traffic Act; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend
traffic on Sideline l0 between Regional
the Uxbridge/Pickering Townline;
By-law 55/74 to prohibit heavy
Road 5 (Concession 9 Road) and
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. Section 2 of By-law Number 55/74, as amended, is hereby further
amended by adding thereto the following:

Concession 9
Road (Regional
Road 5
Uxbridge/Pickering
Townline
2. This By-law shall not take effect until approved by the Regional
Municipality of Durham.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED this 1st
day of December, 1986.
