BY-LAW NO. 231586
Being a By-law to authorize the execution of a
transfer between The Corporation of the Town of
Pickering and The Regional Municipality of
Durham of that part of Lot 18, Range 3, B.F.C.,
Pickering, designated as Parts 1 and 2, Plan
40R-971 and Part 3, Plan 40R-1065. (Bayly Street
reconstruction).
WHEREAS The Corporation of the Town of Pickering, as successor to The Corporation
of the Township of Picketing, is the owner of that part of Lot 18, Range 3, B.F.C.,
Picketing, designated as Parts 1 and 2, Plan 40R-971 and Part 3, Plan 40R-1065,
which it no longer requires for its purposes, but which The Regional Municipality of
Durham requires for the widening of Bayly Street;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized the execute a transfer in the form
attached hereto as Schedule A respecting the sale by the Town to the Regional
Municipality of Durham of that part of Lot 18, Range 3, Broken Front Conces-
sion, Picketing, designated as Parts 1 and 2, Plan 40R-971 and Part 3, Plan
40R-1065, for the sale price of $2.00. (Bayly Street reconstruction).
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 6th day of
October, 1986.
