BY-LAW NUf~ER 2309/86
Being a by-law to appoint
Harold Higdon to the Town
of Pic~ering Public Library
Board
Whereas pursuant to section 12 of the Public Libraries Act, S.O. 1984, c. 57, as
amended, where a vacancy arises in the membership of a board, the appointing council
shall promptly appoint a person to fill the vacancy and to hold office for the
unexpired term; and
Whereas Mr. Andre Pilon nas submitted his resignation from ~]e Town of Pickering
Public Library Board effective August 1, 1986;
Now therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Town of PicKering hereby enacts
as follows:
That section 13 of By-law Number 2122/85 is hereby amended by deleting
therefrom the following:
(f)
Mr. ~dre Pilon
and substituting taereto the following:
Mr. Harold Higdon
By-law passed a first, second and third time and finally passed this 15th day of
September, 1986.
