BY-LAW NO.2259 /86
Being a By-law to amend the Interim Control
Provisions of By-law 3036 enacted by By-law
2042/85.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 37 of the Planning Act, 1983, S.O.
1983, chapter 1, on June 3, 1985, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Picketing enacted By-law 2042/85 imposing interim control within certain areas of the
Town for a period of one year commencing June 4, 1985; and
WHEREAS, also pursuant to the provisions of that section, the Council may by amend-
ment extend that period of time so long as the total period of time does not exceed
two years from June 3, 1985;
NOW THEREFORE THE Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
Sections 9.1.1, 12.1.3 and 16.1.3 of By-law 3036, as added by Section 5
of By-law 2042/85, are hereby amended by deleting from each the date
"June 4, 1985" and by substituting therefor in each the date "June 2,
1986".
2. This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing, subject to the
approval of the Ontario Municipal Board if required.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 2nd day of
June, 1986.
