Pursuant to Part VI.1 of the Municipal Act, 2001
January 22, 2023
Decision to give written approval of By-laws passed at the December January 22,
2024 Meeting of Council
In accordance with subsection 284.11(4)(a)(i) of the Municipal Act, 2001 (the “Act”) the
Mayor has decided:
1. Not to exercise the power to veto the By-laws passed at the Council Meeting held
on January 22, 2024 including the Confirmatory By-law; and,
2. That this Mayoral Decision provides written notice to approve all By-laws
#8073/24 through #8078/24 enacted at the January 22, 2024 Meeting of Council.
This Decision takes effect on January 22, 2024.
