BY-LAW NHMBER 2178/86
Being a Zoning By-law to amend By-law 1827/84,
which amended Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 3036,
as amended, to implement the Official Plan of the
Town of Fickering District Planning Area, Region of
Durham, in Part Lots 33 and 34, Range 3, B.F.C., in
the Town of Picketing. (A 7/83)
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
passed By-law 1827/84, amending By-law 3036, to permit the development
of detached dwellings and a neighbourhood park to occur on the subject
lands being Part Lots 33 and 34, Range 3, B.F.C., in the Town of
Pickering;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing
now deems it desirable to amend Schedule "I" of By-law 1827/84, to
permit the development of detached dwellings to occur on the subject
lands;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
NEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. SCHEDULE
Schedule "I" to By-law 1827/84 is hereby amended by changing
from "S1-NP" to "S1" the zone designation of the lands hatched
on Schedule "I" attached hereto.
2. TEXT AMENDMENT
Section 5(2)(a)
repealed.
and 5(2)(b)
of By-law 1827/84 are hereby
3. BY-LAW 1827/84
By-law 1827/84 is hereby amended only to the extent necessary
to give effect to the provisions of this By-law as it applies
to the lands hatched on Schedule "I" attached hereto.
Definitions and subject matters not specifically dealt with in
this By-law shall be governed by the relevant provisions of
By-law 1827/84.
EFFECTIVE DATE
This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing hereof
subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board, if
required.
