Pursuant to Part VI.1 of the Municipal Act, 2001

Decision to give written approval of By-laws passed at the October 23, 2023
Meeting of City Council
In accordance with subsection 284.11(4)(a)(i) of the Municipal Act, 2001 (the “Act”) the
Mayor has decided:
1. Not to exercise the power to veto the By-laws passed at the Council Meeting held
on October 23, 2023 including the Confirmatory By-law; and,
2. That this Mayoral Decision provides written notice to approve all By-laws
#8048/23 through #8051/23 enacted at the October 23, 2023 Meeting.
This Decision takes effect on October 23, 2023.
