Pursuant to Part VI.1 of the Municipal Act, 2001

Decision to give written approval of By-laws passed at the September 5, 2023
Special Meeting of City Council
In accordance with subsection 284.11(4)(a)(i) of the Municipal Act, 2001 (the “Act”) the
Mayor has decided:
1.Not to exercise the power to veto the Confirmatory By-law passed at the
September 5, 2023 Special Meeting of Council; and,
2.That this Mayoral Decision provides written notice to approve By-law #8032/23
enacted at the September 5, 2023 Special Meeting.
This Decision takes effect on September 5, 2023.
