HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 3426/90 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 3426190 Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a Release of an Agreement respecting Part Lot 10, Plan 330, Picketing (Norman George Forrest and Beatrice Forrest). WHEREAS it is necessary to remove from title an Agreement between the Town and Norman George Forrest and Beatrice Forrest dated October 29, 1968 and registered November 12, 1968, as Instrument No. 175455; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Release, in the form attached hereto as Schedule A, of an Agreement dated October 29, 1968 and registered November 12, 1968 as Instrument No. 175455 respect- ing Part Lot 10, Plan 330, Pickering (Norman George Forrest and Beatrice Forrest). RELEASE In consideration of the sum of Two Dollars ($2.00) paid to it, receipt of which is hereby by it acknowledged, THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING, (as successor to The Corporation of the Township of Picketing) hereby releases and forever discharges NORMAN GEORGE FORREST and BEATRICE FORREST their heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, of and from all claims, demands, damages, actions or causes of action which may have arisen, are arising, or may arise as a result of or in any way related to an Agreement dated October 29, 1968 and registered as Instrument No. 175455 on November 12, 1968, between THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING and NORMAN GEORGE FORREST and BEATRICE FORREST concerning Part Lot 10, Plan 330, Pickering, more particularly described in Schedule A attached hereto. IN WITNESS WHEREOF The Corporation of the Town of Picketing has hereunto affixed its corporate seal attested by its properly authorized officers this 5th day of March, 1990. SIGNED, SEALED & DELIVERED THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING Wayne Arthurs, Mayor Bruce Taylor, Clerk SCHEDULE A Part Lot 10, Plan 330, more particularly described as follows: COMMENCING at a point located as follo~vs: COMMENCING at the south-westerly angle of Lot Number Ten; THENCE north fifty-seven degrees forty-seven minutes east one hundred and six- ty-two feet ten and three-quarter inches (162' 103/4") to an iron bar, which is the point of commencement of the parcel being described; THENCE north sixteen degrees fifty-five minutes west, three hundred and forty feet seven inches (340' 7") to an iron bar; THENCE south seventy-three degrees five minutes west one hundred feet (100') to an iron bar; THENCE south sixteen degrees fifty-five minutes east, three hundred and sixty-eight feet (368') to an iron bar. THENCE north fifty-seven degrees forty-seven minutes east one hundred and three feet eight inches (103'8") to a place of beginning. All as now staked to define the above mentioned boundaries.
