HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 7986/23The Corporation of the City of Pickering By-law No. 7986/23 Being a By-law to amend Schedule A of By-law 7362/14 appointing Inspectors Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of subsection 3(1) of the Building Code Act, 1992, S.O. 1992, chapter 23, the Council of The Corporation of the City of Pickering is responsible for the enforcement of the Act within the City of Pickering; Whereas, pursuant to By-law 7362/14, Council appointed a Chief Building Official and such Inspectors as are necessary for the enforcement of the Act within the City of Pickering; Whereas, as a result of recent staff changes, the By-law to appoint these individuals must be amended to reflect the change in staffing; Whereas, as a result of an increasing volume of permit applications, it has become necessary to outsource third party plans examination services; Now therefore the Council of The Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby enacts as follows: Schedule A of By-law 7362/14, as amended, is hereby deleted and replaced with Schedule A attached hereto; Schedule A – Part B attached hereto is hereby added and is subject to expire on June 1, 2023. By-law passed this 23rd day of January 2023.
