BY-LAW NO. 6062/0 2
Being a by-law to amend By-law 2632/88
WHEREAS pursuant to the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter H.8, the Council of
The Corporation of the City of Pickering may by By-taw 2632/88 the council of a
municipality may by by-law provide for the erection of stop signs at the intersections on
highways under its jurisdiction.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
Stop sign shall be erected at the intersection of highways set out in Column I of
Schedule A attached hereto, facing the traffic bound in the directions set out in
Column II of the Schedule.
Schedule A to By-law 2632/88, as amended, is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following items:
Column I Column II
Intersections
Facin.q Traffic
Sheppard Avenue and
Rosebank Road
Eastbound and Westbound on
Sheppard Avenue
This by-law shall not come into force unless it is approved by the Council of the
Regional Municipality of Durham pursuant to the Regional Municipality of
Durham Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter R.8, section 34.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 2nd day of
December, 2002.
