Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a Release
and Quit Claim of Part Lots 20-24, Concession 3; Part
Lot 22, Concession 2; Part Road Allowances between
Concessions 2 and 3, between Lots 20 and 21,
Concession 3 and between Lots 22 and 23, Concession 3,
Picketing (Parts 1.6, Plan 40R-I0979), excluding Parts
1-3, Plan 40R-5988, in favour of The Municipality of
Metropolitan Toronto.
WHEREAS the Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto has requested that The Corporation of the Town
of Pickering release and quit claim any interest it may have in Part Lots 20-24, Concession 3; Part Lot
22, Concession 2; Par~ Road Allowances between Concessions 2 and 3, between Lots 20 and 21,
Concession 3 and between Lots 22 and 23, Concession 3, Pickering (Parts 1-6, Plan 40R-10979),
excluding Parts 1-3, Plan 40R-5988, in favour of The Municipality of Metropolitan Toromo, and
pursuant to the provisions of section 193 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 302, the Council of
The Corporation of the Town of Pickering may pass by-laws for disposing of interests in lands;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picker'mg HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Release and Quit Clahn in the form
attached hereto as Schedule A, by which The Corporation of the Town of Picketing releases
and quit claims any interest it may have in Part Lots 20-24, Concession 3; Part Lot 22,
Concessinn 2; Part Road Allowances between Concessions 2 and 3, between Lots 20 and 21,
Concession 3 and between Lots 22 and 23, Concession 3, Pickering (Parts 1-6, Plan
40R-10979), excluding Parts 1-3, Plan 40R-5988, in favour of The Municipality of
Metropolitan Toronto.
2. By-Law 3577~90 is hereby repealed.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third thne and finally passed this 3rd day of December, 1990.
