BY-LAW NUMBER 3538/90
Being a by-law to appoint By-law
Enforcement Officers for certain
purposes (Parking Regulations - Durham
Condominium Corporation No. 61, 1945
Denmar Road)
Whereas pursuant to the provisions of section 70 of the Police Act,
R.S.O. 1980, chapter 381, as amended, the council of any
municipality or the trustees of any police village may appoint one
or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace
officers for the purpose of enforcing the by-laws of the
municipality or police village;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL DF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following persons are hereby appointed as Municipal Law
Enforcement Officers in and for the Town of Pickering and are
hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable times upon lands
under the control of Durham Condominium Corporation No. 61 in
order to ascertain whether the provisions of By-law 2359/87 are
obeyed and to enforce or carry into effect the said by-law:
Mr. Greg Scott
Mr. Stuart Barnes
Mr. Allen Hyatt
2. The authority granted in section 1 hereto is specifically
limited to that set out in section l, and shall not be deemed,
at any time, to exceed the authority set out in sectionl.
3. These appointments shall expire upon those persons set out in
section 1 ceasing to be a resident of Durham Condominium
Corporation No. 61.
