BY-LAW NUMBER3409/90
Being a by-law to amend By-law 1887/84
(Business Licensing) to provide for an
increased licence fee for markets.
Whereas pursuant to section ll of By-law 1887/84 IBusiness
Licensingl as amended by By-law Number 2341/87, upon application on
the prescribed form for a licence for a market or proposed market, a
licence may be issued on payment of a fee of $750.00 per operating
day; and
Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering has
deemed it expedient to increase the said fee to $4,000.00 per
operating day;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Section ll of By-law 1887/84 as amended by By-law 2341/87 is
hereby deleted and the following substituted therefor:
ll} Upon application on the prescribed form for a licence for a
market or proposed market, a licence may be issued on
payment of a fee of $4,000.00 per operating day.
2. This by-law shall take effect on March 1, 1990.
3. By-law Number 2341/87 is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this
19th day of February, 1990.
