BY-LAW NO. 3395 /90
Being a by-law to amend By-law 55/74 prohibiting
heavy traffic on Bronte Square, Walnut Lane,
Glenanna Road and Kitley Avenue.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the predecessor of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, c.302,
s.210.117, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing enacted By-law
55/74 for prohibiting heavy traffic on the highways;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Schedule 2 of By-law 55/74, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding
thereto the following items:
Highway From To
Bronte Square Glendale Road Charlotte Circle
Walnut Lane Highway No. 2 Intersection of Storrington
Street and Wollaston Court
Glenanna Road Dixie Road Walnut Lane
Kitley Avenue Dixie Road Pinecreek Court
2. This By-law shall not come into force unless it is approved by the Council of
The Regional Municipality of Durham pursuant to the Regional Municipality of
Durham Act, R.S.O. 1980, c.434, s.40.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 19th day of
February, 1990.
