HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 3364/90 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 3364/90 Being a by-law to authorize the capital expenditures for distribution system expansion and rehabiliation by the Pickering Hydro-Electric Power Commission Whereas the Pickering Hydro-Electric Power Commission advises the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing that it is desirable and necessary to undertake the capital expenditures for distribution system expansion and rehabilitation: Now Therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering enacts as follows: 1, That the capital expenditures for distribution system expansion and rehabilitation as outlined in Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this by-law is hereby authorized at an estimated cost of $4,300,000 to be debentured over a term of ten years. 2. That this by-law shall not take effect until approval has been obtained from the Ontario Municipal Board, By-law Read a First, Second and Third time and finally Passed this 22nd day of January, 1990. The ~990 debenture issue is required to finance an $8,226,800 capital budget. The portion debentured pertains to system capacity improvements, system rehabilitation prograa~es, system voltage conversions programmes, and system operational /mprovement s. Town Council's concurrence is required in the form of a resolution, before we can SUlmLtt this to OD~io Hydro for approval.
